  1. No worries. I'm still away, so I'll check back in when we get home (tomorrow night?) and then let @oafcmetty have the final figures as he's going to do the final tweak to the spreadsheets.
  2. Sorry mate, but he was lightweight. I never once saw him try to motivate anyone, his passing was rubbish and he just didn't look interested. He wasn't the only one, though. Too many didn't look up to the job, but I expect more from a captain. Woods and Mills did more organising.
  3. Christ on a bicycle, that was awful. Mills was head and shoulders above the rest and I dread to think what that defence would do without Wheater. We were stood near the end we were defending second half and Woods was constantly shouting to Sefil about his positioning, telling him where to be. Woods looked solid, though. There was one occasion where Woods yelled for the ball (we could clearly hear him) but Sefil ignored him and booted it out. Luckily, it deflected off an FGR player for our throw in. Iacovitti often forgets he has a winger to mark and gets tucked inside too many times. And don't get me started on Maouche. What a bloody lightweight and being captain is laughable. Was it in his contract? There's no other reason I can think of to give him the armband. Wilson worked hard, but got no service; I don't remember Azankpo touching the ball and Vera will never be a footballer all the time he's got a hole in his jacksie. Branger starts before Nepomuceno? Smacks of Mo picking the team; bloody ridiculous. It's a team bereft of ideas and cohesion; they're like a bunch of strangers (I suppose they are) who look totally disinterested. I've never seen a "warm up" like it before kick off. I used up more energy walking from the car to the ground. Things might improve once Egert and Smith-Brown are available and we get a decent midfielder and striker in. It's going to be a long, hard season otherwise. Relegation performance, that.
  4. Yep, I saw him in pre-season at Salisbury. He had very little to do and looked about 13 years old. Certainly couldn't judge him off that game. Yes, they brought Casillas [sic] in (no, not Iker) although Peacock-Farrell looked a solid keeper when I watched Quest highlights.
  5. He was only on trial as I recall, but Bailey Peacock-Farrell has gone from Leeds to Burnley for £2.5M
  6. It's not bloody LACOVITTI. It's IACOVITTI. In answer to the LB question, it's either him, Stott or Swabey-Neavin until Smith-Brown is available.
  7. Good man. I've just sent them to you for tweaking.
  8. He ain't on iFollow for me. Latest video is Stockport.
  9. Forest Green 3-1 Latics [HT 2-0] - Missilou (I can't see a striker getting one!) - 2,886
  10. Terrific effort everyone. Let the battles commence.
  11. Just a heads up, boys and girls. I'll be at Forest Green on Saturday (yes, I know, I'm bonkers) and Mrs B and I are going away on Sunday morning for a few days, so I won't have time to get all the final names into the respective divisions and calculate the tables before we go. I expect to have them all done and dusted next Wednesday afternoon, so please bear with me. Good luck to you all and let's have a good prediction season.
  12. The Prediction League will probably feature a record number of predicted defeats this season. Let's just have some fun doing it, because it looks like anything but fun on the pitch.
  13. It wasn't green, it was yellow. A pretty disgusting yellow at that. Look at my avatar; that's genuine Oldham. Anything since isn't. I bet @BP1960 and @LaticsPete just might agree with me.
  14. Well, we've got 40 so far, so you never know. We need a few more to succumb to the @lookersstandandy advertising spiel.
  15. I actually had to read that twice before I realised it was a full prediction. Fuller than most, I have to say.
  16. I think we'll get off lightly and only lose 3-1. Just can't think who will get our solitary goal. OG probably. And I don't mean O'Grady.
  17. Nah, I'll be at home breaking bread with Mrs B by 6:30 and I don't want to spoil my appetite.
  18. I'll be there with my "bruv" Mac and his son-in-law. 40 minutes or so down the road for me. I'll support the team, get frustrated with them, but get behind them. Most of the time, anyway. I want to see us win, but fear the worst, but as long as every player puts a shift in, you can't ask for much more from the less talented in our squad. If, on the other hand, it looks like they can't be arsed, I'll vent my spleen, but won't let it spoil my weekend. Mrs B and I are going away for three days in London on Sunday morning. Evening meal with step-son the younger on Sunday night, lunch at The Shard on Monday and a day doing what we want on Tuesday. Latics are not allowed to spoil that. As for the Chuckle Brothers, they can piss off any time they want. The vegetable samosas at FGR are bloody lovely, so at least that will be a bit of enjoyment.
  19. The more you read, the more you realise that AL wouldn't know the truth if it smacked him in the gob. How many more lies? Please, please, please Abdallah, piss off out of it, take your brother and whatever other loons are involved in running the club with you. I'm beginning to think I'd rather be in the Conference with an owner who is honest, trustworthy and diligent than be in any EFL division with this bunch of charlatans.
  20. How does supporting the team on the field, but knowing their shortcomings sit with you? I'll be supporting them next Saturday, shouting, screaming, singing and willing them to win, but won't hold back with criticisms if they're justified. If they're not good enough for this division, it isn't their fault. It's the fault of the nut cases that brought them in when they're out of their depth.
  21. Probably didn't want to be part of a circus any more.
