Lags Posted August 2, 2011 Share Posted August 2, 2011 (edited) Given his good start to his Latics career during pre-season and what on the outset looks a good partnership with Jean and the rest of the defence, should Latics be already looking to secure his services beyond the current 12 months deal?. Does anyone know whether both parties or Latics alone have a further 12 months option? there are very few 12 months only deals struck. I also like his attitude in LW interviews. I would give him till about November which I think we should do with Smith , lets see how their fitness (and ability) holds up in competitve games. What I will say without fear of contradiction that in the meaningless pre-season games Diamond has impressed most Latics fans who have expressed an opinion to me. So time will tell Delfer.
