Many a true word spoken in jest....although seen as a failure in terms of win %, David Moyes' 52.94% was better than Matt Busby and, excluding Fergie, was United’s most successful manager since Ernest Mangnall between 1903 and 1912. They will be signing the players, working up the deals and contracts, deciding on formations and selections etc. This Hockaday is apparently a talented "pitch coach" - good with improving players and gelling groups. He will train them, coach them, but have feck all to do with anyhthing else. Leeds fan at work just cannot see how it will work. ...and neither can I really if that's the case.
