Yep, they paid £1m for him as well if memory serves me correctly..... but it appears as tho Cotterill fell out with him. Wilbraham, Agard & Matt Smith [when on loan] were all in front of him.... Cotterill doesn't fancy him in his plans by all accounts. Excellent on his day though. I'd take Jacques Maghoma every day of the week although can see him getting a top end League 1 club. Huddersfield Town; Anthony Gerrard, Jonathan Stead and Martin Paterson have been released by the club following the expiration of their contracts along with Jake Carroll and Daniel Carr. Birmingham City; Nikola Zigic, Colin Doyle, Gavin Gunning, Matt Green, Olly Lee, Will Packwood, Callum Reilly and Kamal Guthmy have all not been offered new deals. Sheffield Wednesday; Lewis Buxton, Giles Coke, Paul Corry, Rafa Floro, Dejan Kelhar, Gary Madine, Joe Mattock, Jacques Maghoma, Rhys McCabe, Matt Young and Kamil Zayatte will not be offered new contracts. Scunthorpe United; Sam Slocombe, James Severn, Marcus Williams, Miguel Llera, Eddie Nolan, Callum Howe and Matt Sparrow will leave the Iron at the end of their present deals this summer. Notts County; Notts County will not be offering Sean Newton a permanent contract, the defender has confirmed. The left-back joined the Magpies on loan from Lincoln in February with a view to earning a move to Meadow Lane this summer. Cheltenham; Cheltenham Town have made Trevor Carson, Omari Sterling-James, Matt Taylor, Lee Vaughan, Jack Deaman and Jamal Lawrence available for transfer.
