Brown was 1st choice on Saturday though...

Great point ....

however Wilson was not available for selection due to injury.

which meant Brown was not first choice he was the only choice.

and again he did ok on Saturday but if some you would seriously drop our best left back and move Brown across you need your head testing!

As I mentioned after the Stirling game pre season, Green has talent, of that be sure. Does he quite know how to harness that yet to hold down a regular spot? IMO no. Does he quite know how to fit into a game plan team? IMO no, not yet. Is he match fit to carry out his full tasks in the team? IMO, no. I also think DK must feel the same because the lad has been left out the squad and team. He also had Green doing fitness work with the coach in front of the Walsall away following.

If Green knuckles down and puts in the hard miles he'll become a very nice player to watch and have. If we had currently a side that could carry a ball playing possible match winner, he'd be featuring now. Just my take.

Oh Mills even shaky, stays in the side. No brainer.

He is fit enough to come off the bench, if not start the game as he played 60 mins most pre-season. but without seeing him play we don't know how good he could be at this level. Middlesbrough game what harm would it of done to bring him on and not Dunn, the game was lost and Dunn is not going to learn anything out of it, but Green could have.

Because it's more important that Dunn gets match fitness as soon as possible - he is the priority above Green?

Not going to happen now anyway, B Wilson is out for a while with a groin injury.

Why is anyone fitter than anyone else? same reason I'd guess.

We have had players like Kelly amd now Gunning who have struggled to get to fitness due to lengthy injuries. No obvious reason why this fella should be in that category

How much is it too join The George Green Appreciation Society? Is there a welcome pack? Is Boats & Hoes being released as a single?
