They've been prepared to let everyone go already for the right fee - Gray, Dallas, Odubajo etc. Think that statistical model they've got for recruitment means they aren't fearful of replacing anybody. One firm bid rejected but expected to go back with £3m plus add ons. It says that will probably be enough to open serious negotiations but they'll have to pay more than that to get him.
