Corney said 14 players contracted. Which ones were they?

Gerrard

Dummigan

Clarke

Flynn

Banks

Fane

Holloway

Fawns

....and who else....?

Presumably options have been activated for....

Stott

McLaughlin

.....but that's still only 10!?!

....does that mean 4 of the players with contracts up this summer have options of which we were unaware, or Law, Mantack & Knight have had theirs activated?

I'd like 3 of them to be....

Edmundson

Mantack

Obadeyi

....and then it's a toss up between Wilson & Green?!?

I was thinking the same thing.

It could be that deals have already been agreed with a  few out of contract players (not neccesarliy those we have options on) contingent on survival being achieved.

Chris Kettings - not seen enough of him to make a judgement.

Josh Law & Jamie Reckord both can go for me unless they want to be squad players.

Brian Wilson surely we need to offer him a new contract! Same with McLaughlin.

George Edmundson & Jamie Stott new contracts.

Kallum Mantack,Charles Dunne,Lee Croft can go.

Paul Green has been a useful squad player this season IMHO.. New contract?

Michael Ngoo & Darius Osei hmmm seen something in both of them if theres better out by there replace if not offer them a contract.

Tope Obadeyi sign him up.

Nothing has been announced, certainly.

I'd guess some of the options have or will be taken up, and others may have been offered new deals. It may be that they've verbally indicated they'll sign, but until it's signed and sealed nothing will be announced. Plus, I guess it has to tie into the announcement of who's being released - wouldn't be a great move to announce extensions and leave a few of the squad wondering what's happened to their situations.

In previous years it's been the first or second week of May when all of this gets announced. Sometimes the incoming youngsters' pro deals get announced sooner.

Just now, Crusoe said:

Yes. Offered. Doesn't say signed (although I'd be surprised if he doesn't).

.....how likely is it that the boy would announce on a Public Social network that he was 'happy' to be offered a contract that he didn't intend to or hadn't already signed....? I would suggest next to nil.

How anyone can advocate offering Ngoo a contract is staggering! Hasn't even come close to scoring a goal or threatening the oppositions goal. Gave away a last minute penalty and got sent off in a big game for two pointless lunges. Seems more of a comedy act than a footballer!

I'd offer Brian Wilson another year and Green if the terms are reasonable (don't know what kind of money he's on).

What do you class as reasonable terms for a player who bossed the midfield since Shez came back

I'm not sure really with regards to terms, agreed he's been excellent since Shez came in. Also 34 now though so not sure how much longer he can keep up the energy levels he puts into games.

Tough one. I'd imagine he's a high earner as well at minute
