Carabao Cup-League Cup

Recommended Posts

Bit of a farce in the draw already.

Oxford United versus Cheltenham tie as Charlton Athletic appeared twice on the graphic on the live Facebook draw page.

Oxford was announced, but the graphic said Charlton Athletic.

Burton at home. Watched the draw, shambles. Maybe a redraw? Forest green didn't get drawn unless they are in the northern.

Must of missed that. It was still a shambles though. Winnable tie though so a chance to get to 2nd round.

That was a complete cock up. It also showed Wimbledon vs. Swindon - both unseeded teams.

For those interested the below link is last seasons prize money for the EFL cup. Assuming this is even slightly correct a run in this cup is worth bollocks all. So a sponsor was needed quite badly by the looks of it assuming the prize money has gone up somewhat.

Turns out Jack Warner wanted his home town to be twinned with an English village and we offered him Burton. No World Cup for us then
