I've played on that ground in Sunday League days. I remember it because it had showers that worked which was rarely the case at our usual venue at Tooting Bec. I've only seen him once, but he looked quality.

singe
Glebe FC beat Deal Town 3-1 in their replay meaning Glebe travelled to Banstead Athletic. Banstead Athletic 0 Glebe 4. They will be gutted. My son used to play against Banstead under 10' and Banstead are renowned for being quite a well drilled outfit. Adrian Stone got a hat trick. Here he is with the match ball. He joined Glebe from AShford United a couple of weeks ago along with JAson CGoodchild, AShford manager also left the same week. Stone subbed on 86 mins to some applase, and his replacement MAsrch scored a tap in with his first touch. Might be worth keeping an eye out for Glebe in the future, their stadium is in 15 acres of grounds, 5 pitches, floodlit training area, multiple purpose gym, 2 REception rooms for hospitality and a private members bar. http://d2dzjyo4yc2sta.cloudfront.net/?url=images.pitchero.com%2Fui%2F685065%2Fimage_598771f225734.jpg&w=820&t=fit&q=

singe
So Glebe will play Phoenix Sports. Phoenix having beaten Eastbourne Town. Phoenix Sports are based in Bexleyheath, and this could be classed as a local derby being just over 3 miles apart, though with traffic its around 15 mins journey time. Phoenix are in the Bostik League South (Isthmian League South which is Step 8, and sit mid table currently. Phoenix was formed originally n 1935 as St Johns Welling, then Lakeside, After the War it changed it's name to Phoenix in homahe to the destruction caused by the Blitz. They have a total of 38 teams playing out of the club. Honours are sparce. Glebe are in Step 9, Phoenix Step 8. Glebe's division goes into Phoenix's Whoever wins the match will progress to the 3rd Qualifying Rd for the first time in their history.
