They say they will be linking it to a 125 year celebration somehow, maybe that's why.

Playing to the audience. Gregan reaches to a larger proportion of supporters, those of us that saw Groves can flick 2 fingers at everyone else, we were well and truly honoured.

Interesting piece on Mark Crossley in The Times today on accepting that his time in football is probably over and the perspective of his father being seriously ill at a time like this. I didn't know that he was the only keeper to save a Matt Le Tissier penalty. 

 

Also mentions Dean Windass who has attempted suicide twice since he retired.
