Harsh to call him for dodgy kicking in that weather.

As good a replacement for Ripley we are ever likely to find and made one worldy

Granted, thought his kicking was poor Saturday also, seems to scuff a few with no height.

Gevaro was a funny one.

He lived up to Lee Sinnott's billing of having won a competition for much of the game but he was also very clever at times standing over their free kicks and the like.

Seemed more experienced than many of his team mates in that respect and well versed in the dark arts. Only Clarke has been any good at that in recent years.

Get well soon Pete.

By the way, how do you get double pneumonia? Serious question.

Just seen this, singe. It didn't come from a cold, flu or any virus. It's down as community acquired pneumonia. Both lungs filled with fluid, one more than the other. It also caused an irregular heartbeat. Bit of a bugger, really.

Not read the thread as abroad at the moment but got sent some clips off 'Youngen' but Clarke deserves a kighthood for his bellyflop on the ball in the closing stages.....love his your not getting anything easy mentality even though he might not be at the top of his game.....and this Byrne lad has the low centre of gravity turns similar to a Hazard style of player......great win the blues.....get in finally

His name was mentioned so many times on iFollow - sounded like a lot went through him.

Awful. Can only imagine how bad you've felt.

He kept finding good positions first half but looked scared to put a cross in until about 40 minutes. Though maybe he was "looking after the ball" rather than getting it "in the mixer" as I wanted him to

A tidy player, clearly experienced but lacking a bit of ooomph...
