Ruddy is poor, nothing more to say than that about him. Team as a whole have been below par, start a fresh second half. Dummy has saved Clarke a couple of times. Dont want to tempt fate but Fane on a yellow worries me! Think Wellens will change it at half time. Feel we are lucky to go in 1-2 but gladly take it! He could have taken anyone off really he felt he had to change something. This wont end 2-1 more goals in this one yet. Poor start our passing was sloppy Ruddy looks low on confidence. But we are still in this. Fane is lucky to still be in the pitch he needs to tread carefully particularly in these conditions. Pitty Johny could not play, that’s three points lost because of Shezes wonderful number 1 keeper. Come January we need to replace him with someone decent. deckyd Posted October 28, 2017 Share Posted October 28, 2017 Oh well. Could of sneaked a draw from this. Doyle on another day scores 1 at least. Chances at the end we just couldnt convert. Scunnys 3rd goal was jammy as fuk with the block ending up as a through ball, still think the keeper should of done better, trying to cut it out. Second half display was better than the first. yarddog73 Posted October 28, 2017 Share Posted October 28, 2017 Jack Ruddy shouldn't play for the club again he's truly awful, not sure on the rules for bringing in emergency cover but ones things for sure he's not up to it, his warm up sowed the seed for me - rarely have I seen a keeper who actually prepares like he doesn't give a fuck but this lad takes the biscuit, gave his usual palm into the oncoming strikers feet for the first goal and really could of let in double against a more potent striker, he's hopelessly out of position at times and when he did have something to do second half he couldn't even get anything on a cross that went straight through him. We lost our whole shape today without our sweeper. The gap between Placide and Ruddy is enormous although Dummy should have been picking up the loose man at the back for their first.
