Crusoe
Well, the latest I've heard is that we won't be signing Robbie Williams - he's off to Huddersfield Town, according to an acquaintance.
RoytonBlueLad
Hudds splashing the cash eh. One of Ritchie's old boys too. Makes sense.
Hometownclub
Hudds splashing the cash eh. One of Ritchie's old boys too. Makes sense. If we really want Williams it will be disappointing if we can't entice him here over Huddersfield (although I do understand his previous connection with Andy Ritchie at Barnsley). I still think we must be a more tempting option than Huddersfield, surely.

Dont know who started the £100K rumour BUT they want a transfer fee Grayson waits on Williams reply By Pete Allison - Created on 2 Jul 2007 Blackpool manager Simon Grayson is awaiting a response from Barnsley's Robbie Williams, after offering the defender a contract. The 22-year-old enjoyed a thoroughly successful spell at Bloomfield Road in a loan deal from Barnsley, but Williams is now available on a permanent basis and Grayson admits he is just one of the player's many suitors. "We tabled an offer for him last week and now we are just waiting to hear back from Barnsley," said Grayson. "He is going to receive other offers because he played very well for us, so we'll just have to wait." Williams netted five goals from defence for Grayson's side, including the opening goal in Blackpool's 2-0 League One play-off final win over Yeovil. RoytonBlueLad
The 100k thing is from the Lashers board. They had something from Grayson saying that was the fee and it's as far as they'd be taking it.
