In the League 7 games so far under RW, we've scored more than half the number of goals all last season.

His rate his 105 per season, Sheff Utd scored 92 last season.

Best not look at the goals against though....!

Top of that particular goalscoring chart! Champions!
Joint 3rd worse defence. Relegated!

In the words of Paul Weller "That's entertainment"!

With the way the team is playing at the moment you would think that we will go for the changes that will cause the least disruption their is no need for a change in formation or philosophy. So Clarke in for Gerrard and Omrani in for Gardner no reason why that team wont win the game.

Omrani was dreadful in the first twenty minutes against Scunthorpe before being hauled off, I'd be surprised if Wellens had enough faith in him to start, saying that the other options of Flynn and Green have something to prove.

Indeed. It makes a change from "the public wants what the public gets" which is what we've had to put up with for the last x years.

Agreed but he redeemed himself against Newcastle and had a very good game. I would rather give him a chance again than put Green on from the start. If it’s not working you could always bring Green on or Manouch who can certainly pick out a good pass.

I went to see "From the Jam" at the Ritz after Saturday's match. Found myself stood next to five Latics fans. I've had worse days.

I stand corrected. Interesting to see quite a few teams that we're chasing down the bottom half of this table. 6 points from next 2 games and news that Doyle extends til end of season would be a treat

He didnt have a good game no but he had a couple of good cameos against Bury and Peterborough amongst others. You are only as strong as your bench, and over the course of the season you will need to rely on you're bench and back up players. Gardner is suspended its inevitable that Fane as a combative midfielder will get a suspension at some point. So either him or Green will have to step in and prove their worth both tomorrow and at other times this season.

I've not got much to base it on, but I think a 4-4-2 with Byrne and Fane as our midfield two would be a disaster...

I agree, just doesn’t sit right. Putting Omrani In makes me feel uncomfortable too, the guys a bit of a headless chicken and gets caught wrong side of the ball a lot.

I’d say Green in alongside Fane, let Byrne have free reign still and then have Menig ready for the last half hour.

Harry Forrester is starting to hit form as are Wimbledon so this won’t be a walk in the park
