underdog
Just seen rhis on a fans fb page. It is there words but relates to the Community Trust during Covid...well done team OACT. Link below inclydes photos and a video as well The club might have shut up shop and neglecting any responsibility to its customers/fans in these difficult times. However we have a group of staff at the club setting the standard. Going above and beyond and creating this initiative for the vulnerable over 70s in the town. Many of whom who have recieved already being Latics fans. The community trust showing exactly why they are held in such high regard. These lads however had to start this initiative through self funding. As the club didnt want to jump at the chance to get on board for some strange reason. Many fans since becoming aware have jumped on board and pledged donations. So much so that today's delivery was funded by fans. For anyone who can. Get in touch with Martin and his team either on here at https://www.facebook.com/OfficialOACT/ or twitter and send a donation to their bank account. Lets make sure these lads dont have to dip into their own pockets again and make it a Community Trust and Fan initiative to support the people of the town and our older fans in what little way we can. Both are to be applauded.
