The last home postponement was more down to a couple of days of frost set in. It's not meant to go below zero until well after midnight (according to what I look at.) Plus, if some snow showers and cloud cover arrives also, that has a small warming effect. I'm no Michael Fish but if those covers are on now, the snow is light as predicted and the covers stay on until mid-morning, I'm confident we will be playing. I can’t agree with that, for most part of the season he has had jack Byrne infront of him providing no cover, essentially providing a 2 on 1 every game. (I like Byrne a lot and think he’s one our best playes. Also slow centre half’s who he was covering for at the start and protecting Gerrard. I know what you're saying but I wonder if fullback is a position where you can look poorer than you are at our level through having to do so much and being constantly exposed through lack of support that you'd get at a higher level/in a better side? I'm not Dummigan's biggest fan either but I wouldn't be at all surprised if he was a regular in a Championship side 2 or 3 years from now. Like Grounds and Eardley.
