Take your point but that was on firmer, dryer pitches and think it's a bit more attritional at this time of year and in our position (i.e. you have to put your foot in a bit more).

We played well on the shit pitches then too, shit pitches have only become an excuse because we've had a wobble or two, attack is going to be our best form of defence for us because we are going to concede, lets get back to the all out attack we witnessed at the start of Wellens tenure when he had little to lose, thats the best we have been in a long time and there seems no logical reason to move away from that.

Was shite against Blackpool

So 1 bad games rules him out of contention?

Most of the team have been shite for several games, yet he's scores goals, created goals (albeit by luck at Bury) and looked a threat compared to most.

Nazon played well on Tuesday, but lets not kid ourselves - apart from a 20 minute spell at Blackburn, he has been pretty shocking since signing...

He hasn't even played that many matches and in the few he has, has contributed.

If he's been shocking what is to be said for the majority of the team, every time he got it Wednesday we looked like scoring.

Blackburn unplayable

Bury only one who gave a toss and is the main reason we got back in the game (beating 2 men and albeit scuffing his shot so Davies could tap in).

He's one of our only players that when he gets it, you think something may happen.

I would go Doyle Davies but we need to fit Nazon in as going forward he frightens defenders, either with his pace or he simply shrugs them off him

Should really be about 3 up weve had chances here. Jack Byrne is having one of his best games I counted 6 chances he created if you include his 2 set piece deliveries. Fane is having abit of a mare and is now walking a tight rope if we had a decent replacement he would be coming off at half time.

More goals in this one. Switching to 4-2-3-1 halfway through the half worked Gillingham were getting on top then.
