This site has made me money for the last 3 years. Mainly from picking an outsider who places but last year helped me back the winner in addition to the 80/1 shot who placed.

Heard good things about Milansbar from someone too.

You are right, Tiger Roll ticked all the boxes and was the virtual race winner. Should have  put my season ticket monery on it.:icon_peace:

Helped me back 1st, 3rd, 5th and 6th (paid out with Sky Bet). The fact that their tips are purely based on facts helps.

I've just had a look at that site, and bloody hell.

I know they rated the winner a 10, but also rated 8 other horses as a 10 as well.

They then rated 11 horses as 9 out of 10 (which brings in the third Bless the Wings).

So out of 44 horses (including the reserves) they rated 19 as a 9 or a 10.

If you backed all those 19, even though you got the 1st, 3rd & 5th, you'd be showing a loss.

Perhaps, in some circumstances you would be, but some of the 19/44 horses they rated 9 or 10 didn't run, so refunded as a minimum.

In many years you can make money on the National by putting £1 e/w on all 40 horses (not this year, but last year you would have done). The sums added up to making a profit despite the slight scattergun approach.
