We’ve heard nothing of substance thus far, does he now owe us a description of his plan?

- OAFC2004 Ltd makes a loss every year. In normal Limited company circumstances, this is not sustainable. Are you [AL] going to cover that loss and write it off every year until you can make it profitable? i.e You will not saddle OAFC2004 Ltd with Director loans that it has to pay back if/when you come to sell it?

- In order to achieve this, you will need to target an increase in revenue from player transfers and supporter numbers. How are you going to do this?

- Are you going to increase the playing budget so we can attract / sign more expensive [and hopefully therefore better] players, or are you going to operate within the same budget restrictions as our previous owner(s)?

- We are aware you believe you can unearth talent from your extensive knowledge of the World/European player/transfer market, however what are your views of investing in the youth set up [scouts, coaches, facilities] in an attempt to increase the frequency of & profit from home grown talent?

- Will it be possible to reduce the reliance on a procession of loans, rewarding prospects with good contracts and putting an end to selling cheap?

- We hope an improvement in the team's performance will attract/bring more fans back, however will you also address some of the obvious inadequate facilities in the 3 stands you own and find a way of getting Blitz/Gazal to complete the fans bar on the top floor of the north stand? Possibly through part or complete funding yourself and/or striking a deal that sees an increase in revenue for the club from the OEC?

- Will you invest in a new pitch and upgrade/improve the training facilities?

- Finally, will you work closely with OACT and the Marketing/Media team to do more to promote the club to the wider Oldham community including a better funded Boundary Blues with improved facilities/Events?

Bump.

Right then, trying to look at this objectively.... IF he manages to buy the ground (and isn't reliant on dirty money i.e a Bassini) &....

- IF he's converts his Director loans to shares.

- IF he tries to sell an Edmundson a season for decent money.

- IF he stops wasting money on (so many) sh1te players.

- IF forays into foreign recruitment are limited in number & discernibly make a difference AND he invests in the Academy structure, to find more local talent.

- IF loans are considered and targeted to fill gaps in our squad / not seemingly a revolving door.

- IF he spends money on improving the matchday experience / fixes the dilapidated stands / makes use of the top floor of the JR stand.

- IF he continues to support the excellent job the groundstaff appear to have done this season / lays a new and very overdue pitch.

- IF he recognizes the importance on community projects, Junior Latics & local media/advertising presence

....I'll be his biggest supporter.

Are you happy with Mo and Barry continuing to be directors, when their performances have been beyond woeful?

Nope. He isn't realistically going to get rid of his brother.... but IF his scope of influence was watered down.... and IF he concluded Barry's time was done and showed him the door, I'd be very happy with that......

In the event Abdallah does end up with the whole shebang then bridges need to be built between the hierarchy and the supporters immediately. There would be no more brinkmanship or posturing required and just what would hopefully be an honest attempt to get everyone back on side with a fresh start.

Some of the below may stick in Abdallah's throat but as a gesture to the fans and an attempt at reconciliation I would hope (or suggest, if the club are reading) for the following:

1. The North Stand to be reopened as of Swindon at home

2. Assuming the hospitality returns to the NS, one of the vacant retail units to be turned into a supporters bar (even with a rudimentary set up)

3. Barry to be removed from his post (Abdallah we know you like him but it would represent an act of conciliation to the alienated fans)

4. Mo to be moved into an advisory only role to support Abdallah and a commitment that he will not be involved in any further recruitment

5. An apology to the fans for having been caught up in the off field battles

6. A commitment to further periodic meetings with PTB on behalf of the supporters (assuming PTB would want that) and to respond with constructive proposals in the light of their recent surveys

7. A commitment to what appears to be the new recruitment policy

8. A stated commitment to mounting a serious promotion push next season and to provide the resources to do so

9. A commitment to a detailed review of the supporter facing set up at the club including ticket office hours/infrastructure and matchday experience

I will still be stunned if he has found the cash.
