singe
Chesterfields relegation from L2 obviously cost them, but we can see how much now. They publish qiuite comprehensive accounts. Their losses doubled to £20,000 per week. (0.4m to £1m) Turnover down from £6.6m to £5.8m Debts at £10. £7m to Dave Allen (mostly interstest free), and £3m to former Directors Wages down from £4.4m to £4.1m. Seems like they wanted to spend to go back up, they might have to cut back quite a lot more if they go down again. Here is their detailed expenses breakdown from PriceofFootball tweet. Yes it is, generally used in financial services for the stage in life when you start drawing from a pension pot rather than paying into it. I believe it is..... https://www.proact-stadium.co.uk/ The Dema Glass site emerged as a possible location in October 2004 at a time when the club were already pursuing planning permission to redevelop Wheeldon Mill, the town's former greyhound stadium. Chesterfield Borough Council viewed the site as part of a masterplan to regenerate the A61 corridor, an area to the north of the town centre and including the Chesterfield Canal.[13] Agreement in principle between the club and local authority was struck in February 2005,[14] though progress faced initial delays.[15] Planning permission was granted after a public meeting held on 1 July 2008,[17] with the plans forming part of a wider mixed-use development. The land at the site was handed over to the club in February 2009[18] and, after decontamination, construction officially started on Thursday 23 July 2009, overseen by GB Development Solutions.[19] Separate buildings which formed part of the overall scheme included a Tesco Extra superstore, Tesco petrol station, a KFC, a Enterprise car rental and other office facilities.[1] The new stadium was handed over to the club in July 2010[20] and granted its full capacity licence from the Safety Advisory Group after hosting two limited capacity games against Derby County and Barnsley.[21] The stadium can be expanded to a 13,000-seater facility if the corner sections are eventually filled. To be fair we've got no management team of any standing the infrastructure from the CEO down has been decimated, our academy looks like it's about to done away with and the lad who was holding the fort after his boss and then his boss where fired off is now first team manager, we've sacked or forced out any player who earns more than a couple of grand a week and the players we're bringing in who we actually own are shite, we already have a relegation and if it wasn't for Iverson, Lang and Surridge we'd be doing a Notts County and joining Chesterfield in the Conference. Other than that our new esteemed interfering chairman is doing a grand job and some on here reckon he should be cut some slack for at least another couple of years. Hopefully we will still have a club by then because as starts go this is about as shit as it gets.

Many lay the blame for last seasons relegation fairly and squarely on RWs shoulders, but don't underestimate the effect of the disruption caused by AL. I think I read somewhere on here that the wage bill was cut to £1.2m. this season, when it could be £2.2m. AL must be using the £1m. to pay off previous debts.
