Doidge is back at Forest Green, after FGR’s chairman / owner posted something on Facebook about Bolton breaching their contract with Forest Green (he was on loan and Bolton were supposed to buy him this month). Forest Green have been paying him, because Bolton haven’t. See

Bad news for us for Saturday (coupled with the fact that we will play them twice with him playing , most others once and a lucky few not at all).

He’s bought a house according to Nixon. Disgraceful on Bolton’s part.

Done it with another player too... whose wife had packed in her job to move up with him.

That Ken fella is something else.  Surely Bolton are going to get in to trouble for this.

Don’t agree with how Bolton are being run but until you sign the permanent deal why would you buy a house?!

They signed a contract saying they would buy him after the loan period,  they are to be sued for breach of that contract by FGR.

The other player, Remi Matthews, was set to sign an 18 month contract with them and has now been sent back to Norwich. He’s a free agent in the summer and isn’t wanted by Norwich and faces an uncertain future. Both players have been well and truly shafted by Bolton.

No comparison.

I beg to differ.  We've had years of not paying staff and some businesses on time and who know what impact that had on individuals.  I think we can be pretty certain that it affected some people quite significantly.

It's not a week for bickering about that though; hopefully things have turned

Notts County had a £2 entry offer on Satdi..... and they got over 15k turn up. It didn't help them however, as they got beat 1-0 at home to relegation rivals Cambridge.

Unlike us, they've got decent facilities there of course.... and their local competition doesn't include Intergalactic Citeh and Universe Yoonited.... they could do worse than to look at the Bradford City model of low cost season tickets to fill the stadium, which holds 20k. No point charging what the do and getting 6k.

It does bring me back however, to wondering what are Abdallah's motives? Why buy a club, whose land you do not own..... whose buildings are in a state of disrepair.... and from which you have little chance of increasing attendance figures/revenue in the short term, if you don't have a grand Plan to improve it? It can't all be about ego and/or 1 single idea to raid the French lower leagues..... surely? That would be stupid wouldn't it? Is he stupid? Or is he not telling us something?
