It was a really good day and the weather was glorious throughout. Turnout was slow going to start with but mid-afternoon loads more came. Nice little venue too! A great day had by all, I think!

The cricket itself was fun, and the Oldham fan team narrowly lost with only 1 or 2 balls remaining for Moorside.

Edit: thanks to all of the Trust board for sorting the day out - here’s to it becoming an annual thing hopefully ?

Apologies...I was too sunburnt last night on my forehead that I needed to cool it down before I went nuclear...or was it wind burn as I was wearing factor 25

yes Maddog summed it up well. Gordon's family were there and present the GL trophy to Moorside, who have custody of it for 12 months. I did manage to upload some photos on the Trust facebook page.

There were some funny moments as well and it went down to the last over...I think that's the right terminology....hahah

Thank you very much to those who managed to attend or even helped us spread the word on the event. With hope it will grow and become and end of season family fun day in Gordon's memory

Thanks
