Anyone fancy signing McNulty to pair with Gerrard at centre back?

Two big obstacles to pass.

No ta. How fat is he!!??  Embarrassing. Looks like a Sunday vets league player.

Edit. He is only 34!  Looks 45 minimum.

Can't be any worse than Lincoln V Exeter. Very poor game of football. Talking of big Units, those who mentioned us signing Matt Rhead, jeez.  He looks like he's been on the pies for a good few years now!

Akinfenwa, Rhead, McNulty, Gerrard..just need to find 7 more to outmuscle the opposition.:D

Glad Tranmere are back up. A decent rivalry for once. Beats Rochdale bringing 800 fans to our place and us pretending we can compete with Blackburn, Bolton etc.

Still, bunch of Bin Dippers...

Forgotten how many they used to bring, was never that many was it? Apart from two seasons when they were doing well.

Absolute myth that they ever brought a decent following. Both Dale and Bury always bring more. They filled half the RRE big section when they were top of the league that season when Cassidy was on fire. They couldn't even fill the small section in March the year they bottled the play-offs on the last day to Scunthorpe. I remember that game well as it was Joe Royle's return when we lost 2-0. Every other time I can remember it was always less than 1,000.

We never took many there either to be fair - about 800 last time. The year before that was even worse - 500ish when TP was temporary gaffer shortly after Dickov had walked.

I do think this time we will both travel better next season for the novelty factor but we have never took a massive army to one another. It's hardly surprising either given the distance which seems to be massively understated by our lot - it's as local as Port Vale and Doncaster.
