Linked with Jake Jervis on Twitter (among other interested clubs).

Judging by his scoring record, he doesn't play as an out-and-out striker. Or if he does, not a very good one.

An account followed by about 4 people has suggested it.

@efl_hub, with 4,170 followers?

I mean, I wouldn't bet your money on a Twitter rumour in any situation, but it's a bit more than 4.

Plus the idea of us signing a journeyman single digit striker seems wearyingly plausible.

3 goals in 42 games last season... I’ll pass thanks

The lad is class. It was his debut season in the EFL. Look at Lang last season, improved masses upon his first season, same as Surridge.

Will bag double figures next season ....

He turned Clarke inside out for the Morecambe winner last season...

I’ve seen Chris O’Grady turn defenders inside out this season....

It means fuck all.

He's pulled off that simple drag back twice this season, once was definitely against Maidstone and another was in the league but I can't remember who against...

He could have done it against them, but I'm sure it was in another (away) game also.

Edit: Bradford (A) in the Checkatrade for Surridge to head in.

Indeed. I saw Ish Miller do it twice as well, vs Macclesfield and (I think) Maidstone.

Looks as though the club is appealing for players....

https://www.oldhamathletic.co.uk/news/2019/june/03062019-matchday-roles/

There are a number of opportunities available for matchday roles at the club during the 2019/20 campaign.

These include turnstile operator, car park attendant, programme seller, Golden Goal scorer and central defenders.

Lol - nice one Pete - first laugh I`ve had in a while concerning Latics 😀

I don’t really care who we sign as long as it’s not John Stones.....is professional footballer seriously his full time job?

I don’t think him or Walker have much time left at City.   Lingard is also due a transfer to somewhere like Southampton, shouldn’t be anywhere near the England XI.

Lost De Ligt for the first goal, totally cocked up for the second. Too casual and paid the penalty.

Average England performance.

It’s painful to watch, we’ve gone back to the old days of being shite but this time we are doing it without defenders 😁
