Bastards.....I'm not talking to them...and no more sweeties for them anymore at meetings.

big shout out from me both have worked extremely hard and Jorvik has made bloody good foundations with regards to our membership with supporters direct.

Congratulations on your re-election too.

Sounds like AL's due diligence  was particularly diligent. There shouldn't have been any nasty surprises.

Not so much diligence but should have  changed the clubs bank account sooner from when he took over to keep a better  track of where the money he put in was going to.

Thanks. I joined the gym a couple of months ago so I'd still be ITK. Always 2 steps ahead.

I need photographic evidence. No, I didn't mean pornographic evidence, although it could amount to the same thing.

Thanks for the kind words all. It wasn't an easy decision to make but the Trust is in a better place at the moment. I still believe in the work that they do and have offered support and advice on an adhoc basis. It's been a mix of things but mainly it's the time and effort involved and the frustration of being stuck in the middle of not being able to answer the fans questions directly (lots of questions), even though you know you're doing the right thing all the time. Divulging sensitive information can damage the club and that's the last thing we all want.

Just know that the Trust is well connected and will always do the right thing even though it may not look like it, it's not the secret society that some claim. We've had some difficult discussions and decisions to make under the previous regime and hopefully we will start to move forward as a club once Abdallah clears up the mess left behind. I have full faith that the Trust will keep a watchful eye over the running of the club and help out or question the owner when required - they aren't all thinking that he's the messiah but it's an improvement (that's not hard, I know)!

Oh - get down to Latics on Monday for the Meet the Manager. It should be a good night. http://www.trustoldham.co.uk/meet-the-manager-frankie-bunn-andy-rhodes/

From that one assumes that our new owner is a frigging amateur

I have no idea to be honest on business. Maybe Al thought with all the payments set up that it would be easier/okay just to carry on without disruption.

what he didn't expect was the funds he put in to be "moved" let's just say.

hence the change

Nice try....I'm not talking to you..you have abandoned me...was it because i did not bring Haribo to the meeting?

no don't go there....heheh

seriously LL and Jorvik have done some fantastic work and have a better clear sense of buisness matter than me and it's been invaluable.

Jorvik legacy will be  a lot of leg work, ground work and meetings he has been with supporters direct with regards to our affiliation and hopefully, membership

LL...well he has unique perspective on matters and I'll miss that too...although I have just seen him coming down the road in shorts thank God not Lycra...haha
