Smiler13
Give the lad a chance you haven't seen him play yet and you have condemned him to the scrap heap
singe
It was restructured in 17/18. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/French_football_league_system#Regional_leagues National 3 is 5th tier. Dieppe are in the Normandy tier. And struggled in that.https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2017–18_Championnat_National_3 I reckon it is on par with Mossley or Stalybridge at a push. Also he is 24, so it is not like he was a young star destined for great things.

Who has condemned him, just gauging the level he has been signed from. He's a non league player, so our expectations should be low.

Tbh we'll all be worried if this is typical of who we sign but as the others are Baxter and Nepo there's no reason to think so. If he's got something about him and he's on realistic wages (fuck all) then why not?

We can question where he has come from granted and its french non league however we are in the fourth tier of English football so not far off that standard now. If this guy shows promise then we might uncover a gem if not then hes only here for one year. No big deal but we need to pick some non league players up that have shown promise. Peterborough do it all the time and they are successful at it. Edited July 3, 2018 by Smiler13

Probably a couple in the Oldham Sunday League with similar profiles and the standard won't be much different, clogging the squad up with piss poor foreigners served us well last season didn't it? At least the likes of Menig and Moimbe had some pedigree - this lad is far from that level and it really is a sad state of affairs when this lads signing in front of players we've already missed out on. Pisses me off that we seem to be going down the same route that served us so badly last season.

Ryan
Most clubs in the French 5th tier are amateur with a handful of them semi-pro. Most clubs in the National League are professional...

There won't be one person in football in this country whose ever heard or seen this lad yet Fitz was being watching by plenty of clubs at the time.
