Not been to any preseason games, so don't know what the general opinion is of him, but at 6'4 he ought to be quite commanding in the air. At least that's the goalkeeper sorted. But other than that looked pretty solid and commanding, and apparently had a good game in mid-week, so trust Rhodes' judgement. Reckon he'll be less entertaining than Placide, though... Connor Ripley seemed unbeatable and had one of the best seasons we've seen a goalkeeper have to keep 18 clean sheets two years ago. Which is a club record. Daniel only needs 8 from the last 19 games to tie that. Not far off on current form. I know we're in a division below but didn't think he'd be anywhere near that record. Still got along way to go Iverson but very good prospect, his shot stopping is superb, better kicking than ripley but his claiming of crosses is so poor and has cost us a few by not coming off his line.
