I think the key thing here is when the 2 weeks started. He last played against Bradford which was 11 days ago. If that’s when he was injured, he could be back on Tuesday.

I'm calling that rarely spotted OWTB phenomenon - over optimism.

Strange that Bunn says he's not seen him since the Bradford game and was running strong at the end of the game.

Then said he's out for about 3 weeks with an hamstring.

Is the more to this than meets the eye?

He now says in todays interview, that he was scanned here on Friday, and hopefully he will be back soon.

I don't think he was speaking literally.  I think he probably meant he hasn't seen him on the training pitch due to the injury.

Aye.

He did make it sound as though the lad had legged it straight for the train home from the ground though.

Yet he said Surridge was running strong at the end of the match.

Either that, or the lad's made of tissue paper.

By heck you’re desperate. Sad even.

How? I'm not saying he's run off, it's just strange the last two times he's been out injured he's tweeted to say and wish the lads good luck, this time around, when there's lots of rumours flying about, he's said nothing ....

Maybe he just forgot or couldn't be arsed.
