We may have an amazing away following as a percentage of home crowds but you're all a set of lazy bastards who can't be arsed to even cut and paste

It’s a right faff cutting & pasting from a phone though isn’t it? Much easier to go with the lazy reply and type scenario. Also, I had to find the link to the other thread and nearly walked into a tourist looking at a map while I was cursing.

The self-righteousness of our fans is beyond silly. We fluked our way to safety in the PL 30 years ago when pass backs were allowed. Doesn't give us the divine right to finish above anyone.

Nah, we played by the rules and got everything we deserved. Just like last season when we got everything we deserved.

Us

OAFC League Position

1st

OAFC Top scorer

We haven't signed him yet

Will Bunn be manager this time next year?

Yes

Will Abdallah be owner this time next year?

Yes

Stability off the pitch, more of the same old shit, or worse?

More stable, after further teething problems - Abdallah will eventually sort the mess out and secure more investment, which will also mean we sign a quality striker and #walktheleague

He'll have more stomach for it than Corney had towards the end and it's important to him that we like him I reckon.

We'll have a decent cup run too - back to back Prem opposition like Liverpool & Everton again. Corney spewing...

Most improved player

Gevaro

Best new player

Baxter, obviously

Best young player

Hamer

Player of the Season

Clarke - a Gregan-esque Indian summer becoming a club great and a shoe-in for next manager

Who will we miss most

Davies

Who is likely to be sold to a bigger club in January?

Byrne. FB will get him onside and give him a promised move after 4 months of exemplary form and behaviour

Will De La Paz/Placide (which ever one is here) get game time?

If he stays Placide to reclaim his place from a disappointing Iversen and keep it

I think he'll be moved on though given the money he's rumoured to be on.

Zeus - no

Which round will we reach in the Cup competitions

5th Rd FA Cup

2nd Rd League Cup - beat Derby, go out to Forest Green or some such shite

Other one - I don't care. Hopefully Abdallah will pull us out.

I've tried searching for it but I remember you creating a thread before Walsall away under Darren Kelly. It featured a call to arms on a mass scale and unbridled optimism. I'm not falling for it again dammit.

To be fair we actually played very well that game against a Walsall side who went on to miss automatic promotion by just a single point.

There is always optimism before the first game, shite squads suddenly look amazing, we convince ourselves this will be the year. Weakness become strengths, happens every two years with England also.

Last year people were convinced we had the best back two in the league and shez would get a tune out of banks and green.

Actually think this is very true.

Good home and away games to start with as MK Dons are fancied for top 7, Forest Green are supposedly rubbish and bottom 2 seems to be where they are tipped.  Good markers for where we are at me thinks.

I'm normally exactly like this. For once, I'm not feeling very optimistic squad wise but hoping that Bunn can get them playing together.

Lee Sinnott has it in multiple formats and reads it every night before bed.

Feels like a trap this Dave.... one that you’re going to chastise me for taking an advance of.... but I’m doing it anyway.

If you like a bit of Predicting, fancy winning some money, contributing to the running cost of a valued OWTB and donating to a great cause, this way please;

Has the points for closest attendance motion I tabled been ratified and implemented?

Neither. You might recall I 2nd’d it and it was kiboshed by @Stevie_J & @Bristolatic because “too many points are already allocated to attendance predictions”. I’d happily revisit it. Over to Steve & Pete?

You'll have to refresh my memory, gents...

20 points exact attendance.

5 points within 10.

3 points within 100.

Bonus 5 or 10 points for the single predictor closest to exact attendance.

I like it.... means 1 predictor can steal a march on promotion / relegation each week....
