WRONG GROUND

Recommended Posts

The photo used on OAFC Official site for the MORECAMBE away fixture is 'CHRISTIE PARK' that was raised to the ground to make way for the new Sainsbury's store,

Here's where you'll be singing OWTB'S   http://www.footballgroundguide.com/leagues/england/league-two/globe-arena-morecambe.html

Symptomatic of a daft mistake. Nothing more.

If it was raised then by definition it must have been from the ground.

I've been thinking of razing Boundary Park so it's higher than the Hawthorns

Ironically enough I believe it's actually the right image unless it's now been changed on the official site. Whilst a new ground, one side is open standing and looks like an old ground.

It has been changed now but the first image posted was the old ground on Lancaster Road.

The new ground (Globe Arena) has the long open side which was suppose to replicate the old car wash terrace at Christie Park in order the fans accept the move more easily.

Anyway, no harm done 👍
