Iversen having a blinder by the sounds of it. They'd have been out of sight otherwise.

He is, we are making Mansfield look a top of the table side. Need to get a grip on Bishop, Elsnik and Rose who are dominating.

The two obvious ones is enough...

But he’s got two absolute cart horses up top who will be lucky to get 5 between them all season... two players playing out wide where one is a right back and one is a forward.

The most creative and talented player on the bench. Along with the two most natural wide players... one who was bang in form a few weeks ago...

 oldhamoafc is a genius.

Seen more passing football from a Sunday league team! Two immobile lumps up front can't win the ball, can't hold it up and despite having the pace of a cruise liner contrive to be offside when the ball is payed over the defence. Lang is NOT a wide midfield player and shouldn't be asked to do that job. Yet to see Latics make three consecutive passes. Gardner needs to realise we are playing in white. If we get anything from this it will only prove football is a funny old game.

Iverson earning his money tonight.  That was one way traffic in our direction,  we have no out ball so it keeps coming back.

No point having Miller and O'Grady up top as O'Grady  may have touched the ball once and Miller can't get the ball to stick.

No one seems to want the ball, they are putting us under a lot of pressure and we are clueless as to what to do, hoofing it tonight is not the answer.

Maybe stick Lang up top, bring Nepo on LW and play Baxter in midfield to hold ball.  O'Grady and Miller can watch the second half go by on the sidelines instead of the pitch.

One thing is for sure, it needs changes at half time.  Wouldn't wait 5-10 mins, change it now.

It’s been poor. Mainly because we aren’t keeping the ball and so it’s backs to the wall all the time.

Every ball out from defence or midfield either finds opposition or bounces off Miller.

Nobody outside of the defence is playing well.

Its not “shite” is it?

What would you do different other than the two obvious ones.

Yes, it’s shite.

1. Start by playing Lang - a striker - as a striker.

2. Play at least 1 winger/wide midfielder if we’re playing 442 - Nepo.

3. Don’t play 2 carthorses up top together as it is blindingly obvious that doesn’t work.

4. Try playing Baxter from the start.

HT:

Shots: 9-0

Possession: 60-40

Without Iversen we’d be dead and buried already.

That was painful. Worst strike force in our history that. Lang is not a left sided midfielder, doesn’t track back and leaves Taylor exposed time and again. Gardner shite again, we literally cannot string 2 passes together. Good job we have a decent keeper this season or it’d be game over at HT. We need changes now or very early in this game.
