Lincoln were (and are..) a club heading in a completely different direction from Latics. The fact we lost wasn't, in reality, a shock. Defeat tomorrow would be a shock. That said, new low points seem to have no bounds at the moment.. Indeed. Not looking forward to it. We’ve got shock written all over us. Actually we are not as a group of players, unfortunately they are being led by the arguably the worst manager in the clubs history who would of been hounded out weeks ago if he wasn't a club 'legend'. Lose against this rabble tonight and we might as well call it a day.

All about opinions but even Dunn/Kelly/Robinson/Wellens having had a pre season would of got a tune out of these players, they certainly wouldn't of persisted with a finished player in a one man attack or played possibly our other real goalscorer barring Surridge out on the wing to accommodate donkeys. This team would be ten points better off with any manager worth his salt.

The David Dunn team at Crewe showed how good a manager he was, most of those players were far superior to those we have at the moment. The games against Blackburn (twice), Portsmouth (away) and Northampton (home) alone were far more impressive than anything the other three produced. Have a feeling that every manager we appoint will be "shit" under the present regime..

Swindon obviously see something in him. Be interesting to see how he does.
the_mighty_bosh
Saturday's team (assuming Nepo is the only player on international duty): Iverson Hunt Clarke Edmundson Taylor Dummigan Gardner Lyden Branger-Engone Miller Lang It's not perfect but a balanced 4-4-2 should hopefully get the job done for us on Saturday. yarddog73
Is that the worst midfield in this clubs history? One thing is certain I won't be paying to watch Cambridge embarrass us.
