Lee S has just asked on Twitter for the odds on Paul Heckingbottom.

His record is, ahem, not great. (Heckingbottoms, not LS's)

Barnsley P105 W37 D28 L40 F140 A141 60 points in a season

Leeds     P16 W4 D4 L8 F18 A27  46 pts in a season.

Can't be a better option than Bunn.

Maybe he interviews well....

The Barnsley numbers are good bearing in mind he got them to the Championship (finishing LJ's job) and then led them to 9th. I expect that is by far Barnsley's best finish since relegation from the PL.

That Leeds job has been attempted and failed at by many good managers (and long may it continue).

What odds did he get? Don't remember seeing him in the list, which probably makes him leading candidate.

33/1 was already on the list but way down.

I reckon he's messing with you all. Probably laying a load of bets on Betfair

Now 20/1 on Sky Bet.

According to Wikipedia Heckingbottom has also completed a BSc (Hons) Sports Coaching in 2013, followed by an MSc in Sport Coaching in 2016.

Fair point. Would not rule him out on the Leeds job, as you say too many tried and failed .

He’s looking for a job but I’m not sure the Latics “arrangements” vis a vis owner control and finances constitute the right opportunity he says he wants.

All the way to the Final I'd have thought.

I understand that several managers have held conversations over the last week with #OAFC owner Abdallah Lemsagam. Steven Pressley is believed to be on that list with a decision due to be made next week after the #FFC game.

From Mike Minay...

Dreadful decision if it's Pressley,  speak to any Coventry or Fleetwood fan and both will say he's the worst manager they've ever had. I'd honestly of rather we kept Bunn with his flaws than be this guys latest failure.

Begrudginly liked him as a player, know zero about him as a manager.

The complaint about it him from the supporters of the previous clubs he’s managed is that his teams play dull defensive football. We all know how our supporters feel about that style! It’s not going to end well is it☺️

Maybe AL's interview list to any prospective manager is;

- This is what I'm offering!

- Me and our kid are dealing with recruitment!

- This is how I want the team to play!

- If you don't like the first two then the toilet window is open!

- If you agree to the third point but don't do it then be prepared to have your initials burnt off your car parking spot......very quickly!!!
