Salford’s Beckham announcement was live on YouTube. Is there any of that going on? It’s a bit strange that we haven’t even acknowledged that it is happening yet but I guess that is par for the course. We shouldn’t expect to be kept informed. Possible Scholes has asked that it be kept as low key as possible? Don't know. I do know he doesn't like the limelight too much and looked utterly bored, disinterested and like he would have rather been at the dentist during the Salford press conference. But seeing him in Latics kit today made me smile. Let's see how long it lasts - maybe I'll be pleasantly surprised and he'll still be manager by summer.
