It would appear from reading that article, the circus of last season hasn't put off prospective applicants

They've only had two "official" applications - one of whom is Lee Clarke, the other isn't BGS. That's not to say people haven't contacted AL directly though...

It seems to a football tradition - being interested in a job, but not formally applying! Are they are so important that they have to be approached or head-hunted, or do they rely on an agent making a phone call?

The other one's name is out there now. Kenny Shiels, ex Kilmarnock manager...
