Least Chesterfield have noticed they are struggling and are doing something decent to give them a decent chance of staying up, albeit if they have to make him the highest paid manager in L2 and the NL. Couldn't imagine what being relegated from the NL this season would do to them.

They'll be going up next season on the back of this appointment

Much as I admire Shez for what he's done for us in the past, it has to be said he never seems to stay anywhere long these days. Of course the resignations are not always his decision, but he makes Steve Bruce look like a model of stability.

8 jobs in last 3 and a bit years... which is ridiculous.

Think of the money, most managers get sacked and paid up the balance of their contract and then happily join the merry go round that keeps on turning.

Big Sam made a career of it 🤣

Oh, I know why he does it.  All about the cash for Shez.  The Notts C job was for sure, despite what people here believed.

Don’t get it, do u slate big joe?

He single handedly built an amazing team and won something, took us to two semi finals and a final.   Not fit to lace Royle’s boots from a management perspective.  Not even close.
