al_bro
First time I went, I think was the first ever Sunday game. If I remember correctly, we weren't allowed to pay for entrance, but had to buy a program at the gate as an entrance fee.

That was the replay that also ended in a draw and a second replay was played at Nottingham Forest's City Ground. I was at that one. It was the first ever competitive Sunday game between two teams from the top four divisions. It was during Ted Heath's 3 day week malarkey when street lights went off early and clubs weren't allowed to use their floodlights. On reflection, was the game at Cambridge the Sunday one, or was it the one at Forest? Memory fades with age. You'd think I'd remember seeing as I went to the second one. I thought the replay was played at home in the afternoon.
