I don't think you can give Scholes a free pass. At least under Bunn and Wild we had a semblance of being a bit drilled.

Play offs were unrealstic, but they current crop are clearly not playing for the manager, and only did so for one game. I hope it is because they have been told they won;t get new contracts because we are in real trouble if any significant number of the current squad are in contract discussions at the moment.

This for me.  I am worried about Scholes' man management.

for what its  worth from aug 68 until jan 70 it was grim.perhaps shaw, chapman and mcneill only stood out.in dec 69,john lowe a wealthy mill ownerbought the club,. sacked Rowley and made frizz caretaker, frizz wasn't first choice but eventually was made manager and got money to spend.i am not an old timer but a loyal supporter of 60 yrs.

Baxter went in studs up. Big difference. Defo a red

I was obviously being facetious. Mainly because I am pissed off with the inequity of how VAR is being used. Last night a Yoonited player avoids a three match ban because it's there. Citeh are wrongly awarded a penalty and an offside goal stands because it isn't. And of course Latics would have had a replay with Doncaster had VAR been used to counteract cuntish officiating.

Given how VAR ruled on the penalty at Fulham I really doubt it would have changed much at Doncaster.
