I know as a volunteer it is tricky to balance the time.

I think I jinxed him as last night I said he was still a director.

 

However, this was not a sudden decision for him or unexpected for us as we are aware somewhat of the circumstances. The door is always open for those that have previously served as volunteers...well just ajar for a few like that pesky Leeslover and Jorvik were right pains in the........only messing. 

 

We have a brief overview on the Trust site of who's who. We are now 9 volunteers - thanks

That's good to see. Darren is going to be busy though..!

I hope that you get some more to join, would you call it the Board?

Meeting like the one on Saturday might help prompt someone.

Yep he is and he's on holiday so what he is doing now he's doing it whilst away.

 

We did ask on Saturday if anyone is interested to log it on the trust website as there is a section there.  Or anyone on here even.

 

You don't have to be a director to start with, in fact we recommend first you co-opt in and you could say serve for 6 months. It gives you time to see what we are about, to see if it is something you can commit too and of course,......saves us on paperwork hahah.

 

Ideally to attend 3 meeting per season usually in person but the way technology is and that we have Darren who is a bit of a techno geek, we could look logging in.

 

So if anyone thinks, you know I could be interested then please go to the trust website.

Does anyone know how many previous employees are taking us to a tribunal over their removal from these lists? I've read on Twitter that the kit man and Chief Exec have been paid up but don't know how many more are taking their dismissals further. I expect Gerrard would be one & possibly Philliskirk to be another.

Don't now upcoming ones, LS has hinted at a major one, TP seems the one like you say. The others are Fitzpatrick the shortlived Commercial guy - got a £1,700 for unfair deduction of wages. Simon Brooke the other one.

Fitzpatrick was in Corney’s time. 

 

I think he was the bloke behind a dodgy lottery at Chesterfield. Corney and Detective Barry Butterbean didn't do the full due diligence...

It was around Sept, so we know he funded Menig then, I really would not be surprised if he was involved somehow.

July 2017 was the hearing date. The claim will stem from a few months, at least, before then. Can’t see Marco being involved at all.

Natalie Atkinson has left Southport as CEO. One factor was a bit of a social media battle with fans (not seen it) and pursuing other interests., but she knows Broady and therefore FLG, and Mikey Brown our recent media guy.

She is hated at Southport caused a lot of issues. 

 

Would be a disaster her being involved.

She was at a game towards the end of the season...think it was Mansfield. 

 

Since 2016 she has been at Curzon, Southport and now Chorley I believe. 3 clubs in 3 years...call me old school but i’d Be worried about employing someone who changes jobs so quick.
