Other than he's never portrayed any sort of skill set that you would mark him down as a future captain, I get some posters see the quality he offers at times but captain of OAFC, don't pull my pisser. He's been here for longer than people think and he's also the best English speaker out of the foreign lads. His attitude in certain games raises question marks though. Bristolatic
Conversation: LB So we've lost or captain and I can't decide who to have AL & ML Nothing to do with you. Well decide AL Who should we have bruv? ML Got to be one of our own or we'll upset the rest of them and they're all Premiership and Championship quality. I reckon Maouche. He's the best player we've got. AL I was thinking of Branger, he's a world beater ML No, I'm the Sports Director so I say Maouche AL Ok then. There you go Larry boy, Maouche it is LB Is he a leader? Is he that good? Al & ML Stop asking stupid questions. We make the decisions round here
singe
Maybe the Captain is decided by who is paid the most?
kowenicki
I have no idea who should be captain. Frankly, I don’t really care either. It is nowhere near near as important as in other sports.
lookersstandandy
Dan Gardner played 20 games last season. He scored 2 and assisted 6 times. Maouche played 34, returning 4 and 3. Baxter's numbers were 29, 4 and 2. How the fk Maouche got a new contract - especially given what he was reportedly earning - on his performance at his job and the other two didn't, is a disgrace. It stinks. For context, here are some other comparisons; Nepo, 42, 6 and 10. Branger, 25, 5 and 8. Lang, 42, 13 and 2. O'Grady, 38, 7 and 3. Look at the numbers.... there's no way he should've been offered a new contract. There has to be ulterior motives. I don’t think Gardner wanted to be here and Baxter didn’t want a pay cut and Maouche is AL’s boy
