The Lemsagams probably don't know this.

Who amongst Marco, Little Mo and (God forbid) Detective Redfleece could pick out a decent player currently plying their trade in England that would come to Latics. I'm expecting, and dreading, a fair old influx of complete unknowns from the Middle East and/or France. Hands on
When Marco says he is looking forward to working alongside him does he mean on the touch line? At least the coach won't have a problem getting the team to away games. I believe only a third have to be home grown but that doesn't mean English. So for example with 6 french grown, 6 arab grown and with irish, welsh and scots grown in England (or any nationality grown here) we could indeed have no English players in our match day squad. oafcshuck
Those clubs in the UAE and Qatar aren't small clubs, some very big ex Premier League players have played for them ..

True but you can't compare the UAE top flight to the fourth flight of English football in my opinion.
oafc1955
I will give him my support but apart from a new player market I don’t see how it can possibly work. In every way imaginable It’s a million miles away from football in the Middle East and a massive culture shock awaits. I really hope he can be successful but if we’re not winning football matches something tells me he’ll be gone very quickly, probably leaving a squad of total misfits in complete disarray! oafcshuck
'His recent record isn't very good' He won the league in 2016-2017 losing once all season. He knows how to win. 1. Al Kuwait 28 21 6 1 70 17 +53
