Decent sign that but why only another one year deal? Couldn't we have given him at least 2?

And if he turns out to be less than what we expect, people will moan that he got a two year deal.
It's no-win, no-win situation with some fans.

will he get in ahead of Vera though??? 😉

Vera looked to have suffered a bad injury in the last friendly, might not see him for a while.

Two new strikers if the Benin lad has also signed.

Probably a blessing for some but not good for Vera.

Who is the proposed striker?

Would think we've probably got an option to extend for a year, club doesn't always announce those.

Even so, it's not good to have practically every contract ending at the same time. Corney resorted to this, and we ended up with nearly a whole new squad each season. The better players leave, and it's impossible to build a decent squad.

Quite a promising video. Sharp finishing even with some defensive howlers. Also some decent through ball. Long time since we signed an experienced, in form striker at our level.

Our owner should be in his comfort zone with contracts, perhaps nothing to worry about there.

Championship next target after promotion to L1 isn’t it? May need to upgrade sooner rather than later. 😊

Wilson looks a good signing with a decent proven scoring record at L2 level so very happy to get him on board.

You'd hope we could create more chances for him than Mac did and maybe he can score the 15-20 goals we will need to push us towards the top end of the league.

Partnered with Desire, if he's signed has some potential (more than OG and Vera anyway!!)

I get that, but signing another of the league's teams top scorers and it being a decent signing for us was just hoping for 2. He's here anyway let's hope he's as decent a signing we think he is

Yes, but that signing was stupid because the club knew of his injury record, and lack of fitness.

Correct, he was visibly struggling at Curzon with his ankle, both AL and ML were in attendance that day and I was staggered he signed never mind was offered a two year deal, probably came recommended by Rhodes and has to be one of our biggest failures ever.
