Just seen the guy wanting to take over Bolton. Former Watford bloke. If you think AL is bad check that guy out!

He got knocked back as he didn’t have proof of funds I read somewhere...the new owners are different and haven’t been named yet.

IF Bolton do get kicked out tomorrow do GMR go with them😂

Can imagine them sat in a empty stadium chatting. Ridiculous on sat, we scored and they didnt even report on it. Just carried on commentating on a 0-5 drubbing

Only just seen that a miserly 5K turned up to their game on Saturday. You’d have thought under the circumstances it would have been a full house! Has there been an issue with tickets or something?

Yes. There kind of has to be fair. Also top tier closed. But it was a poor turn out given how massive they are.

It's hardly the case that a few extra twenty quids was going to make the difference. Compared to us they are indisputably massive.

The twenty quids aren’t really the point. Was potentially their last ever game.

They are massive full stop.... They say so.

The bombshell came after the game didn't it?

Nobody thought likely to be their last game.

They don't need boast about massive mess, they have a history that we can only dream about.

They do. A very fine and proud history of real achievement. They are a shadow. Their recent history was built on a lie.

I think it was on here, when Bolton announced their losses, about a year I said it wasn't worth the success they had. Others disagreed. Fair enough. Can understand.

Given what has happened and where they find themselves now, would people still think it worth it?

I guess much depends on who takes over. But taking it as it is now.
