Thanks Andy - nobody could disagree with the sentiments. It's farcical that we have a "shiny new stand" not being utilised for maximum benefit.

In the background, though, and others have said it, it's looking more and more like the Trust's position is becoming untenable with the club i.e. there are obvious synergies between the Trust and the FLG (despite best attempts by the Trust to now remain impartial!).

The gloves are clearly off between the owner and the FLG, as quite a few predicted. This is a mess and needs sorting quickly. Mediation might be the way forward. Get someone involved who does not have a vested interest to broker a deal to get the Joe Royle standing fully utilised. Volunteer here if you want one.

It was totally predictable and you'd have to be a bit dim not to have seen it coming.

Which is probably part of the problem. They could just get in the way of a good mediation.  Avoid their involvement if possible.

Which might just be the worst possible scenario! Solicitors can be notorious for making such issues even worse i.e. by getting bogged down in the legal detail - when all everyone wants is for common sense to prevail and our showpiece stand to be used for what it was originally intended.

Hopefully, the solicitors will be "forward thinking" ones, who see ADR as the way forward - and quickly.

You have to remember that the now Royle Stand was built to serve two masters - the football club and the landlord.

As we found out it wasn't built simply to provide an income stream for the football club.  I do not believe that the agreement reached by Corney with the landlord would have been made at arm's length.  It follows that if Marco & Mo see an agreement which benefits the Landlord more than the club they would reasonably seek an adjustment in their favour.

I don't know what the facts are.  We will probably never know but it can't help to have the FLG appearing to have long term aims of taking over the football club.

All it needs is for phantom 2 Blitz and Gazal to approach the Clubs owners and they alone sort the whole mess out but it will have to be them approaching the Club and not the other way round. The FLG and Trust have no ownership so they are not required to interrupt any meeting should it occur.

You seem to be forgetting their collective appearance on the pitch at Fulham. Adn the fact there is a sale being processed as we speak.

It's incumbent on all parties to resolve it, but we have proof of at least one offer and know of others to the current owner. All have been rebuffed by the owner.

The onus is entirely with the owner.
