Hopefully @Lee Sinnott can provide some ITK info on Wheater's fitness for Saturday, and if he does I'll definitely be there. We appear to be shit, but so do Bradford. The team surely has to be this: Woods Mills - Wheater - Iacovitti - ASB Sylla - Missilou Eagles - Maouche - Nepomuceno Azankpo He isn't going to play 442 we know that. Question is does he go for Azankpo or Wilson? I'd guess the former as he has already scored. Eagles might play, but I wouldnt be averse to seeing Fage on the RW as for the samll amount of time I have seen him he has impressed. Iacovitti by all accounts was decent at CB last night, but tbh I'd play BP1960 over Sefil at CB. NEPO HAS TO START. VERA & SEFIL as far away from the squad as possible. Not saying its the right or wrong decision to ease him back in, just that I don't think there is anything dodgy behind it. I don't believe its a case of fitness, we just keep switching off at the back, I can see why Banide looks like he has seen a ghost in his post match interviews. First goal last night for rovers was a mistake from smith-brown. You then have Maouche turning his back on Downings shot for the second after Sefil has laid waste to one of the rovers players and everyone bar downing had stopped, a big lesson to play to the whistle. Finally you have Iocovitti losing an aerial challenge in lead up to their third, when he should have left that to smith brown and been covering the second ball that dropped to the unmarked man bursting through the middle as Sefil was caught in no mans land. The sooner we get wheater and egerts in together the better. On a lighter note as a team performance it was light years ahead of the crewe performance. I saw a post on Twitter last night saying that the ref blew for the Free-kick before Downing shot. Having watched the highlights I think I hear a whistle before Downing shoots as well. So I think our players may have played to the whistle only the ref decided that whistle didn't count. That being said from the highlights we look very fortunate not to have had 2 players sent off. Iacovitti may well foul their player when he was through on goal and it looks very much like Mills handles it on the line too.
