They've announced the referees for the festive period.*

For Crawley (H) we've got Martin Coy. He hasn't reffed us this season but last season was the referee for Swindon (H) [2-2], Exeter (H) [2-3] incidentally the game that was on the weekend before Xmas too and Morecambe (A) [0-2]. He doesn't appear to be very card happy.

For Morecambe (A) we've got Johnny Bravo aka Anthony Backhouse. Again he hasn't reffed us this season, although I think he was scheduled to be the referee for one game but was changed late. Last season he was the referee for Notts County (H) [2-0] on New Year's Day, where he sent off Oxlade-Chamberlain; Cambridge (H) [3-1] and Colchester (H) [3-3]. He seems about average for cards.

For BBC FC (H) we've got Darren Handley, again not reffed us this season. He doesn't appear to ref anyone last season. However, the season before he reffed us for Bastards (H) [1-0, Queensy] and the Leicester Paint-pot game (H) [4-2]. He has been quite card happy already this season, sending off 6 players in 17 games and giving out 68 bookings. He may be carrying a bit of extra weight.

For Scunthorpe (H), we've got Graham Salisbury. He reffed our Exeter (H) game this season [0-0]. Last season he reffed the Crewe (H) [1-1] game. He's probably about average for cards.

Not that it matters in the slightest but our record with those referees is incredible really given that we're rarely any higher than 17th in any division.

Those results there as an accumulation is as follows:

Played - 10

Won - 5

Drawn - 4

Lost - 1

Who really cares? It's just an excuse to blame someone

I do. Hence why I posted it.

The club seem to think people do otherwise why do they post an article on the officials regularly.

Dino seems to care too https://www.lancashiretelegraph.co.uk/sport/17957209.oldhams-dino-maamria-not-happy-referee/

But Yeah because a bloke with a - 232 rating doesn't care, nobody should.

As a follow up there's potentially some good value in the cards betting market (over), especially for us, given the card-happy ref and the local 'derby'.*

There is a risk given our recent history, though.
