No chance of getting Smith he’s destined for higher up the pyramid next year I would of thought Who would you offer new deals to Piergianni, Nepo, Missilou, McCann and Dearnley. Try and get Borthwick-Jackson on a season long loan. Not fussed about Zeus, Mills, Maouche, Sylla or Wilson. The rest should be binned off. singe
This is how I think the squad should look come May, maybe the odd other change too Engone maybe see how he does now in a positive team. About half a dozen deadwood to release, after the loanees return. Couple have come back into the reckoning with our recent upturn in form,. FArewell to our longest serving player, Jamie Stott, deserves a testimonial... What do you regular attendeees think? 1. Gary Woods (2021) 20. Zeus de la Paz (2020 plus option) 2. Zak Mills (2020) 3. Alex Iacovitti (2021 plus option) 6. Jamie Stott (2020 plus option) sorry Jamie, it's not wokring, not quite breaking into the team, all these managers can;t be wrong. 15. Javid Swaby-Neavin (probably 2020 plus option, on loan to Radcliffe for the season) 29. Tomáš Egert (2020 plus option) 31. David Wheater (2020, option to 2021 reportedly triggered) 34. Tom Hamer (2022) 7. Johan Branger-Engone (2020) 10. Mohamed Maouche (2020) 11. Gevaro Nepomuceno (2020) 17. Christopher Missilou (2020) 18. Dylan Fage (2021) 24. Mohamad Sylla (2020) 25. Kielen Adams (2020 plus option, on loan to Chorley) 37. Lewis McKinney (youth, on loan to Runcorn) 53. Zac Emmerson (youth) 55. Zak Dearnley (2020 plus option) 56. Danny Rowe (2021) Return to clubs 54. Mani Dieseruvwe (half-season loan from Salford plus option to sign) 23. Christian N'Guessan (half-season loan from Burnley) 26. Jonny Smith (full-season loan from Bristol City) Obvisouly try and sign but ot going to happen 8. Filipe Morais (full-season loan from Crawley) 57. Nice. Sorry, that's not how I meant it. He's no Vera or Sefil. It was a statement of apology that he makes it as far as the bench but can't quite break through and best be cruel to be kind, it's the end if an era. He'll struggle to be match for for many games this season, and now we've signed better players he's likely to be further down the peckng order. I really wanted him to do well, but it's been 4 years and he's not made headway, he deserves a chance at regular football.

There aren't many left sided centre halves knocking about. I'd keep him but then I've always rated him.

Tough, and v unlucky, due to the injury, but if we're going to be challenging I sadly think hell have to be replaced. Of course that depends on replacing him with better. My comparison was only that I've "seen a pint of milk turn quicker" than the pair of them. Tarky's distribution was much better, as well as the rest of his game. Whether either are good enough to progress further remains to be seen.
