What should he do

- Continue the improved recruitment strategy in the summer no more random French amateurs make sure each players signed is the right fit for Oldham Athletic and improves the squad.

- Take on the financial responsibilities of running the football club make sure bills are paid. Try and be as competitive as possible on the pitch. No more winding up petitions!

- Stop falling out with everyone and try and work with them regardless who owns the ground or the sponsors or what the fans think. You need everyone onside shutting stands and falling out with Landlords won't do that

- Reduce the responsibilities of both Barry Owen and Mohammed Lemsagam both are so far out of their depth running a football club at the sharp end its frightening.

- Give a manager time to build a squad sacking manager after manager has contributed to our failures.

- Make sure we have a strong youth setup and community program.

- Treat the staff with the respect they deserve these people are an asset.

Im not asking us to compete on level terms with United and City Im asking us to compete on level terms with Rochdale and Accrington Stanley.

Is that too much to ask for?

Is that beyond us?

If he can't just sell up and go whats the point of him being here.

Can’t disagree with any of this. 👍 Fingers crossed. 🤞

But no news of your exclusive line into this hallucination of a Dutch consortium or several other parties always around to rescue a football club on its heels?

No exclusive line but information from a very reliable source who was in talks with this Dutch consortium when selling his club.  They told him that they looked at us before Lemsagam got involved.  Obviously they didn’t buy the other club but are still interested in L1/L2 clubs and still looking.

They were informed that Lemsagam was open to sell.  However his asking price for just the club remains too high bearing in mind minimal asset value.  Rumour is the asking price reflects the amount of money Lemsagam owes others.

Key is owning both club and ground, especially the OEC.  OEC income can deliver a return on that investment and over time the club could become self-sufficient.  That’s why Lemsagam has managed to get backing, why Bassini is sniffing around, why FLG wanted it.

Recent threat of administration has now got the vultures circling - there’s a few out there (Bassini being one) - because they could acquire club and stadium together on the cheap.  However clearly Lemsagam has ignored the fuckwits around him, is now mediating rather than fighting with Blitz and has persuaded someone to back him in looking to buy the stadium/OEC.  He may even negotiate down this £700k in return for taking the ground of Blitz’s hands plus no longer pay rent and get 100% of matchday / OEC income.

"There has to be a fairer distribution of the wealth so that clubs are not going out of business for a top player's weekly salary.  Its criminal. "

Very true this is the problem with football today .. Premier League .. then the rest of the clubs for fighting the scraps ... disgraceful. Hope you are watching FA.

There are three certain things - death, taxes and you can’t make money from owning Oldham Athletic.  Whatever Marco is up to all he can hope to do is minimise his losses. Blitz has received a ‘substantial’ amount in respect of what he is owed but not the full amount. Marco says he wants to buy stadium and car park (or surrounding land if you believe club news) so Blitz agreed adjournment but retains right to go back at any time if Marco is bullshitting.

Anything else i.e. 95% of the above is speculation.  Don’t believe a word that they say unless it is said to a Judge.

With regards to the North Stand a few items don't add up. Blitz said that the rent for the ground was for all four stands, closing the North Stand did not save AL any money. The SAG closed the stand because there were problems within the OEC. I believe the OEC have rectified these problems as it was their responsibility. According to the statement by the club they say they are going to resolve the problems within the North Stand, it's not their responsibility.

They are obviously waving a magic wand to open the North Stand. To me this is all bull:censored: from AL.

Its Al's responsibility from 1pm onwards on matchday. Probably arguing over who has to plug in the CCTV 🤦‍♂️

When was the last office staff sacking? That seems to have calmed down, along with better recruitment, less team interference, manager having a say in signings. He is definitely improving and adapting.

That is counterbalanced by:

-An unpaid tax bill,

-A winding up petition from not paying the rent,

-Shutting of a stand

-A pathetic attempt at wasting The Police forces time.

Thats just in 2020!

This guy doesn't learn he goes from one fuck up to the next.

So as we have said, this guy ain’t got any money and must be borrowing for fun cos he sure ain’t making any.

Why would he do it, it makes no sense whatsoever. There will only be one outcome here and it isn’t a good one!

Who is borrowing? Him or the club? What is this ‘only one outcome’ certainty you speak of?
