cheshireblue
you left with 20mins left cheshireblue,i left with 25mins gone.that was the worst opening 25mins i've ever witnessed.think stuart balmer took most of the blame for it,don't think he played for us again, might be wrong though. Stuart Balmer, forgot about him. Just remember Cardiff having about 4 corners in the first 15 minutes and scoring from every one. I hate leaving early but with 20 minutes left I thought we aren't going to score 8 now !
DerekWilson_1968
It was discussed yesterday, and I felt that (although I didn't go to Carlisle) after reading all the reports on here, the ref probably made it frustrating for everybody. However, there was an argument that BOTH teams were rank, making for a real stinker of a match... >>>> PREVIOUS THREAD <<<< Aye, nail on head there Taff. I have seen us leathered many a time, and whilst hating it, been able to at least appreciate the fact that the other team had played well (or at least better than the drab performance from Carlisle on Saturday). The fact that both teams were shockingly poor was my reasoning behind my 'worst game I have ever seen' comments. KtF, Derek.
BlueJazzer
Think it would have to be 3-0 home defeat to West Brom in a cup match back in the late 80's or early 90's. On of you might be able to fill in the details, but we were certainly dire.....
oafcprozac
Think it would have to be 3-0 home defeat to West Brom in a cup match back in the late 80's or early 90's. On of you might be able to fill in the details, but we were certainly dire..... Simod Cup Tie at BP in November 1987, we lost 3-0 - Big Ron was the WBA manager and I think the crowd was something like 1,800! We were in the middle of a run that went as follows:- Birmingham L1-2 (H) Blackburn L0-1 (A) WBA (SC) L0-3 Villa (H) L0-1 Ipswich (A) L0-2 Plymouth (H) L0-1 The goalless League run came to an end at Bournemouth on the 7th December, when a certain Frank Bunn made his debut in a 2-2 draw. We also had had three other cup games in the middle of the run, anyone give me the scores???? Edited August 22, 2007 by oafcprozac
