garcon
No, but it is a reason for some inconsistency. He's just going through a bad patch that will hopefully end sooner than later.

Quite Garcon,a bad patch!how some fans can say that he is not interested or lazy is mind blowing. Admittedly Davies has turned in a couple of below par performances recently but after Shez made the switch to 4-3-3,Davies was always going to be dragged out wide. What we haven't been able to do recently is make the most of his pace by getting him in behind the oppo central defenders. Also for some to suggest that we try to offload him in the transfer window amounts to shooting ourselves in both feet. Play to his strenghths and Davies will shine! IMO Davies should be playing as the target man with Hughes just behind for the layoffs (if Davies can be persuaded to pass the ball). On the few occasions on Sat that he strayed into the middle he showed he has good control with his back to the goal as well as the ability to hold off the defender. Hughes on the other hand despite his qualities didn't win one ball that was hoofed to him in the air and didn't seem to be able to jump more than 2 feet.
